GymNinja: Ages 3-5
Our 50-minute GymNinja class is custom tailored to little athletes just starting out in parkour.
In this co-ed class, kids will:
- Learn parkour basics in a welcoming and fun environment.
- Work on introductory techniques and practice the skills required to train safely and effectively.
Beginner Parkour: Ages 6+
Our 60-minute Beginner class is designed to train and acclimate all aspiring parkour athletes.
In this co-ed class, kids will:
- Learn the most basic parkour skills to challenge strength, determination, and agility, all while ensuring safety and fun.
- Work on building a confident foundation that will help them excel in not only parkour but in all other sports.
Intermediate Parkour: Ages 6+ (Invite-Only)
Our 60-minute Intermediate class is available to parkour athletes who have mastered the beginner parkour requirements and are ready for the next step.
In this co-ed class, kids will:
- Learn how to advance their skills beyond the basics of parkour.
- Work on fitness, strength, jumping, flipping, and parkour progressions.
Advanced Parkour and Tricking: Ages 8+ (Invite-Only)
Our 90-minute Advanced class is ideal for parkour athletes who have excelled through the Intermediate class and exhibit the strength and skills required for advanced parkour.
In this co-ed class, kids will:
- Learn more technical parkour skills and be introduced to tricking.
- Work on high-intensity strength and conditioning, plyometrics, and flipping.
Parkour Team (Invite-Only)
Athletes on our Parkour Team are invited from their recreational class, practicing once a week in addition to regular parkour class time. Our Parkour Teams compete against each other in-house every three months at one of our six locations.
On this co-ed team, kids will:
- Learn how to apply techniques from recreational classes to competitive environments.
- Work on mastering competition formats that include speed, skill, style, and chase tag.
Our Parkour Teams compete within these formats:
- Speed: Athletes race to complete a designated obstacle course as quickly as possible.
- Skill: Athletes demonstrate parkour skills at varying degrees of difficulty; the harder the skill, the higher the score.
- Style: Athletes put together their own 20-30 second freestyle run; scoring is based on creativity, use of the environment, skill difficulty, and other factors.
- Bonus Format – Chase Tag: A parkour twist on the classic game of tag, the chaser has 15-20 seconds to tag the runner.

How do I enroll at San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour?
To enroll, simply create an account with us online and choose the class time that best fits your schedule. We offer a variety of class times to accommodate busy families.
What is the billing schedule?
SDG charges tuition one month in advance on the first of each month. Upon sign-up, you will pay a prorated amount for the current month, as well as one month in advance.
Can I join or cancel at any time?
Yes! All classes are continuous, allowing new children to join and stop at any time without interruption.
What is the annual fee?
The $65 annual fee per child is charged each year your child is actively enrolled in classes, ensuring our coaches, equipment, and facilities remain state-of-the-art.
Do you offer make-up classes?
No, we do not offer makeup classes to maintain small ratios and provide the best experience for each child.
How do I know what class to enroll in?
Our classes are categorized by age groups and skill levels. You can check our class schedule, contact us, or visit the nearest SDG location to find the best fit for your child.
What are the class sizes?
Every class at SDG adheres to strict ratios, with no more than 8 students per instructor.
Can I transfer classes mid-month?
While you may transfer to another class if your family’s schedule changes, we encourage consistency for the best progression of your child.
What do I wear and bring to class?
Girls should wear a leotard, shorts, leggings, or a t-shirt/tank top, while boys can wear athletic shorts and a t-shirt/tank top. All students must be barefoot, and hair must be pulled back into a ponytail.
